WooooHooo....happy 2013!!! hope everyone is ready for a great new year! Gale asked me what my CF goal for 2013 is...which got me thinking & Im still deciding what I want that to be. I encourage EVERYONE to set a goal...big or small then WORK to get to that goal. If you dont know how to make progress towards your goal, get with a coach & we will help - whether its get off the bands, heavier lift or better mobility - there are things you can do everyday to get better!!!
PS. i hate front squats so this should be fun after a month of TERRIBLE eating & barely WODg

January is a great month! People are charged up for fitness, and usually sporting new workout gear... Let try something as a BOX... Lets keep everyone pumped up by remembering Rule #1 of our box. For those of you that want to get a a little competition experience before the Opens...CrossFit Fort Worth is hosting the Garage Games Series World Wide WOD. It is a great event to to test yourself and great for newbies!
It will be held on Saturday, January 12th. The entry cost is $55 and there are beginner, scaled, and Rx divisions. This is shaping up to be a large event where athletes not only compete locally but enter their scores to compete against athletes all over the world.

So...i have heard it has been a little cold in the AM? The heaters were on manual and not kicking on 2 hrs before class. changed that today and it should help a bit!
Hope everyone had a good time over the holidays. Now its time to get back to work! Good work AM crew! The holiday treats may not have been such a great idea.
