Steph that may be because you were swinging the 70lb kettlebell. Great job!

  • StephanieS 01/07/2011 20:31:54

This was horrible!! Tough WOD. I thought I wasnt going to finish. Thanks everyone for the push at the end!

  • AmyL 01/07/2011 17:02:10

Although any WODs with lots of weightlifting are generally atrocious for me, I am seeing some changes. That 1 pood kettlebell was once a horror for me to face. It is starting to get easier now. Slowly but surely...progress is being made. Thank you, Crossfit!!

  • PaShunD 01/07/2011 15:22:12

Im going to name mine little PaSh cause I can say I have balls of steal and I know how to swing them! lol Congrats to my fellow swingers, I know you all just as happy as I am that this dang thing is over XXX!

  • AndyL 01/07/2011 14:19:05

Triple Under Challenge should be next.

  • TomW 01/07/2011 14:16:43

I already said it earlier, but mad respect for the swingers who saw it through!

Jamaican me crazy mon! Make sure to jump off the cliff at Ricks if youre in Negril.

  • BrentM 01/07/2011 14:14:52

I just did the math for my KB payout. $49 payout - $10 initial contribution - $40 ripped shorts - $10 ripped boxers - $49.50 for the 1.5 pood KB = ($60.50). It definitely wasnt about the money. Great challenge! I look forward to the next one.

  • PaulF 01/07/2011 12:30:33

Thanks Cat. Youre right, nothing says Happy Valentines Day like the gift of a kettlebell.
I definitely feel like one of the gang now after I have completed a challenge. Plus the fact that I am sore and I ripped my hand 2x this week. Ill be looking into Malachis wrapping techniques.

  • cat 01/07/2011 11:50:35

An early congratulations to all the KB finishers (I assume all of you will still finish your 100 swings tomorrow!?!). Ditto Marlas comments about your commitment level to seeing it through!

A special shout out to my hubby who has successfully completed his first challenge (but certainly not last) at the Box. Way to go Fisher (and Im glad to know that you are finally using the KB that I gave you for Valentines Day two years ago!) Im not sure which is harder -commitment to me or commitment to the challenge, but I think your dedication has paid off either way! ; )

  • JohnM 01/07/2011 11:31:47

Im thinking about naming mine George. I mean we have spent so much time together over the last few months I feel like we should be on a first name basis by now.

  • MikeB 01/07/2011 11:25:36

Thank you fellow Crossfitters - your contribution to the Kettlebell Challenge paid for my new shiny black kettlebell. I will cherish if forever, and think of all of you when I swing it daily for fun!

  • AndyL 01/07/2011 10:53:09

Advice for all you nooners and PMers: Read Malachis blog about saving your hands.

  • AndyL 01/07/2011 10:22:18

If thats the case, call me a winner already.

  • manthony 01/07/2011 09:29:12

  • LeviN 01/07/2011 09:27:36

    Great workout, love the ladders.

  • marlam 01/07/2011 09:27:03

AWESOME job KB swingers, I am truly impressed with your commitment. It says a lot about an individual who can set a goal and stick with it.

  • JohnM 01/07/2011 09:23:47

I must admit I like the downward ladders because you feel like you are picking up speed towards the end.

Congrats on all the 6:30 people that went RX+ with the 115# bar!

  • CoachAsH 01/07/2011 08:53:18
