Farm-To-Gym

Does CFS have any interest in sourcing a local farm for group purchasing of our atheletes meats/veggies?

Article i just read suggests it is becoming somewhat of a thing.

We do it on our own and buy from localyocal farm to market in Mckinney. We have tried a couple of farms and localyocal was the most reliable when it came to having stuff in stock and they are pretty honest about what pastured and whats not etc. I am trying to find a group we can join and found one that gets monthly deliveries from them in Richardson, will try to join this one. Check these links:

Lata, do you do this as part of larger group or on your own?

And thanks Jason, I'll check them out.

At one point, CFS participated in a co-op.  It's how I found out about our box in the first place.

If we no longer participate, check out www.greenling.com, too.  Locally grown veggies and fruits, delivered to your door.

I read about this too! We usually buy meat in bulk from a farm anyway, would be great if CFS can do this :)
