Way to go guys!  That really is awesome.  Sharla, your progress since I started at CFSlast fall has been truly amazing, just keep it up!  Devoree, that's ridiculous man... I mean you weren't Arnold from his Conan days to start with (just playing) but putting on that much size in 2 months is flat out crazy and you are still leaner than most of us can ever get.  I am scared of where you'll be six months from now.  Everybody else who participated, great job, I've noticed a lot of changes in folks bodies over the past few months, whether you were in the challenge or not, so keep doing what you're doing.  And remember the Body By Gale slogan: 90% of Success is Nutrition, only the other 20% is Exercise.

And of course, 60% of the time, it works, every time.

Congratulations to all of you!! Sharla, what you said inspires me. I have only been part of CFS for a few weeks and LOVE how it takes me out of my comfort zone. Have had a few health setbacks, but anticipating the day that I can fully participate!! I hope there is another challenge soon that I will be able to participate in. Congrats again!!!

Gale asked me to share some comments here.  I have to tell you all that I REALLY struggled with this challange and wanted to give up MANY times!  I seriously thought that I would be the one owing the penalty WOD at the end of the time.  My eating habits are defniitely one of my biggest struggles and always have been.  These results are a true testament to CrossFit training.  For so long, the same old workout was not changing ANYTHING for me.  Since I have started crossfiting, my body has been getting much healthier and much stronger.  I still have a LONG way to go, but CFS has certainly helped me work on my mental and physical battles.  I'm so thankful to have found CFS!  It truly has changed me in so many positive ways!  I know we say this a lot, but we do have the greatest box.  I love going each day to be pushed way out of my comfort zone with some of the best people ever!!

Hey Ash, have there been any more details about the wall-ball challenge? Obviously for those of us that don't make it into the gym every day, it's gonna be a real chore. Anything we can do at home if ground rules are set?

And congrats ALL participants for giving it your all during the loss/gain challenge! Kudos to the winners on such great progress. Keep up the great work everyone.

  • CoachAsH 03/23/2010 19:45:28

I agree.  looking back, we should have done it for a longer period of time but we initially thought it would be too difficult to track for that long.  definitely learning as we go!
