February Nutrition Challenge

February 2014 Nutrition Challenge

Strong’s next nutrition challenge is about to get started! Entry fee is $25 and we will have 2 winners- 1 male and 1 female along with a male and female runner up. The winners will walk away with a free month membership along with a $100 gift card to CrossFit Reebok store and a Compete Every Day shirt! Our runner ups will walk away with $50 to CrossFit Reebok. The challenge will consist of before and after body fat % measurements, body measurements in inches, a benchmark workout and a notebook with helpful tips and places to write details for the month. The start date is Saturday, Feb 1st and will go until Saturday, March 1st. xml:namespace prefix = o /


This challenge is going to be a little different than previous ones. You will not be out of the challenge if you “cheat” on food. We will give you the tools to be as strict as you would like to (and obviously you will see better results that way), but it is up to you to decide how you would like to do this. We will also have a goal section of this challenge. I would like for you to come up with one goal- it can be food related( not drink any soda for the month, not eat sugar, etc…), it can be gym related( get my mile in under “x” minutes, get a MU, etc…), or health related( get my cholesterol under “x”, sleep 7-8 hours, etc…). We want to help everyone to succeed and reach at least one goal that they have. This is a safe place to do that with the accountability of other athletes doing the same.


**Important note: we will be doing the benchmark WOD on Saturday, Feb 1 and Saturday, March 1. Please try to make it to both of those days! We will also be doing measurements before and after that wod and will have a sign up for that. Please mark your Calendar!!


** I will have an event scheduled for Feb 1st as the start date for the challenge. Please use the RSVP as your sign up and pay on the iPad.

    Anyone can join the challenge! No need to have gone to the class. 

    We will also come up with a make up time if you can't be there Saturday. 

    We have a machine to measure fat % that we will use.

    What happens if you're out-of-town on that first Saturday? And how are you measuring the body fat %?

    Sounds pretty cool. I wasn't going to do it because I have a vacation in February and knew I'd have some cheats, but this has me reconsidering.
