  • No Muscle Failure -- Training

    The last two days have been interesting and some soreness that we werent able to get out of our athletes for a couple of weeks is back. What did we do?  Training to the point right before muscle failure.  Get a group 5 to 7 athletes. Start with the pullups, each one does 1 for the first round. Each athlete is in a line and follows the athlete in front of them. Ample rest between rounds is necessary.  See how high they could go.  Round 1 = 1 pullup, round 2 = 2 pullups. Etc... Read More

  • KettleBell Certification

    Spent the weekend getting my kettlebell certification from Jeff. It was a great experience and difficult as I am still recovering from the 10ft fall from superman pullups, but as Jeff said "If youre not playing hurt, then you are not playing" or "The applications from Kettlebell training can be used in everyday life, like if you have to shoot a gun, get knocked down in a fight and need to get back up."   • Good To be BACK

    Well it has been a hectic month for me and to see how my body handles stress and inproper nutrition. The wedding planning and late nights really took a toll on me and you guys need to learn from some of my mistakes. The lack of time kept me from going to the grocery store and guess who got my business?
